Kevin Barry & Co - CRM Migration

I encouraged the modernization/upgrade of the practice CRM database, as Senta was not delivering for the needs of a busy & growing practice. With 800+ clients, former clients & prospects, the right system needed to be sourced.

After careful market research, Accountancy Manager was selected and the practice database migration started. This involved carefully and accurately moving two data blocks. Firstly backing up non-compatible client AML/KYC data, secondly, moderating Senta data categories so the export could line up effectively with Accountancy Manager. Zapier was utilized to individually map & send export data to the import interface of Accountancy Manager.

Following an extensive testing phase, full data migration was completed. Further steps involved the creation of workflows and mapping 500+ clients to these workflows.

Inishturk Community Club CLG - EPOS implementation

This project modernized the community bar/restaurant & shop by replacing the cash register system with a modern cloud-based Electronic Point-Of-Sale with integrated card payments to fully manage sales, stock control, table management and all integrated with company accounts software QuickBooks Online.

This made enormous changes to the financial viability of the company, giving superior viisability, control & reporting, as well as automating many of the manual accounting processes. This also gave more robust asset control & protection. It also greatly increased customer satisfaction by reducing service lead times.

IBM - Training Management System (TMS)

As a Training Facilitator at IBM I had to monitor certification/decertification of operators on all processes. As one of the largest IT companies in the world, it was inefficient that we still did so much record storage on paper.

I was inspired to create a digital system that would record & manage the training, certification and decertification of all server operators in line with ISO 9001. I assembled a team of advisors from different departments and a js/sql expert to code the project.

We designed a tool for recording training, built product specific certification exams and enabled a decertification points sytem method based upon QA order inspection & test failures.

The finished project was hugely successful, simplifying operator certification/decertification and gave logistics greater insight to daily load planning and order release. This project achieved accalaides from other IBM manufacturing sites worldwide.
